Welcome to Platte County Board of Services (PCBS), a leader of intellectual and developmental disability resources in Platte County, Missouri since 1975. Through collaboration and direct service, PCBS provides a robust array of supports for people that cover the life-span. Services vary from one time questions to 24 hour hands on support, and lots more in between. PCBS also prides itself as a great place to work. Many of our employees have 10 or more years with our agency. Newly Opened

Neuro Diverse City is a new, safe recreational social space in Zona Rosa that aims to offer fun and inclusion without the stress of trying to fit in. It is for all older teens and adults, but especially for those who are neurodivergent or developmentally disabled. NDC exists to be a gathering place where inherent dignity is recognized and prioritized. NDC hopes to continue building a community in which each person is celebrated for being exactly who they are. There are board games, TVs, video games, art supplies, books, and comics; guests can also come in just to chill.

Residential Services

Residential services offer a range of individualized living supports, in your home or ours, with a focus on independence, choice, and community involvement. A team of qualified professionals work with the individual and their support team to develop an annual plan that determines the services that are to be provided.

Day Habilitation Program

The Day Habilitation Program provides programs that enable adults that have an intellectual and/or developmental disability to develop more independent lifestyles and maximize their relationships in the community. Services are tailored to individual needs and choices and are provided in both group and individual formats.

Transportation

Transportation Services increases access to the community by providing transportation to and from community employment locations, sheltered workshops, day habilitation programs, and agency activities for adults that have an intellectual and/or developmental disability.

Recreation

We envision a Platte County Community where everyone leads a personally fulfilling and connected life. Over the last several years our community has undergone numerous changes.
