Welcome to Platte County Board of Services
Variety Kansas City/Platte County Playground
We are excited to announce that Platte County Board of Services, Variety of Kansas City, Unlimited Play, and Kansas City Parks and Recreation have teamed up to bring Platte County the very first Universally Accessible Playground in this area. It will be located at Tiffany Hills Park near the sports complex and aquatic center. We have raised enough for Phase I of the project and still need funding for Phase II.
The Community Build for Phase I has been scheduled for Friday, May 13, 2016. This will require 50-75 volunteers to assemble the equipment under the supervision of Game Time. Shifts will be from 11 am to 1 pm and 2 pm to 4 pm. If you wish to volunteer please contact Janice Tilman at 816-891-0990, or firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Grand Opening will be on Saturday, June 18, 2016, at 10 am.
