Admission Information
To apply for admission to service programs provided by Platte County Board of Services, a person must:
- Be a resident of Platte County;
- Be deemed eligible as a person with a developmental disability by the Missouri Division of Developmental Disabilities (http://www.dmh.missouri.gov/kcrc); and
- Complete the PCBS application process for the service or services requested.
Individuals shall be considered for services without regard to race, sex, religion, national origin, age, ancestry, or political affiliation. PCBS promotes accessibility for all persons served. Admission will be based upon the individual needs of the applicant. If it is determined that services cannot be provided because of service limitations of the agency, or if the individual does not meet the agency's admission criteria, a referral will be made to another, more appropriate resource.
