Thank you for your interest in assisting PCBS to achieve its vision of “Everyone leading personally meaningful and connected lives” through a funding partnership.

The PCBS Board of Directors is supportive of organizations that align with the PCBS Vision, Mission, and Values Statements which can be found on this website under the “Who Are We?” tab. It looks to form partnerships that increase inclusion, self-determination, and person-centered approaches for people in the Platte County community. PCBS strives for a broad spectrum of services and support.

PCBS considers itself the “funder of last resort”, covering expenses that can not be paid by other sources such as Medicaid, the Department of Mental Health, the Department of Health and Senior Services, School Districts, or the First Steps program. By statute, PCBS can only provide tax funds for services to residents of Platte County who are deemed eligible under the definition of developmental disability in accordance with PCBS policies. Please find further information about our funding in the policy found in the drop-down tabs.

Applications are accepted each year in September for funding requested for the upcoming PCBS fiscal/calendar year. Interested parties should visit our website for application materials. Funds can only be awarded to qualified organizations that are nationally accredited and/or licensed and certified by the state of Missouri’s Division of Developmental Disabilities. Funding applications will be accepted until September 30th 2023, with this deadline being strictly adhered to. Please download the materials found on our website, complete and submit to info@pcbsdd.org (preferred). Hard copies via mail or in person delivery are also accepted. Only one copy is needed and will be accepted.
